The first people that I met in Uruguay were actually a couple from Argentina but I couldn’t tell the difference in accents. They’ve been living in Uruguay for years.
As much as they love traveling themselves, they have a son who is a world traveler. He’s traveling abroad now and he is almost my age, so, in a way, I felt like a son of them. And it was great to hear about the perspectives of the parents who have a son like myself.
Thanks for the Mate after surviving one of the coldest winter nights!
