Quetzaltenango, or Xela, was my first city in Guatemala. Mexico to Guatemala border crossing, @la mesilla, Guatemala, February 5, 2018

So I left Mexico this afternoon and entered Guatemala through Mesilla. Since then I’ve driven for 5 hours and, to be honest, I haven’t noticed too much difference of scenery from that of Chiapas, Mexico.
