I first learned about Future Thinkers Podcast last year. According to the team, it is ‘a podcast about evolving technology, society, and consciousness’. One evening I was looking for discussions around the future of humanity, as it is my area of interest for future studies, and I ran into their program on a podcast app.
I was excited to find out that they were discussing and asking about things I also ask about, so naturally I got curious about their stories that have encouraged them to stick with their plans, which they believed were worthwhile to pursue although it must have been perceived as unconventional. On a personal level, I also wanted to congratulate them for having gathered courage and realized something they thought was valuable.
With excitement, I had sent a cold email and introduced myself as I was approaching Bulgaria, where they are based in. I have to say that there was additional excitement in seeing them in person, not through a smartphone screen anymore. But quite expectedly, they were as much authentic and curious human beings, who were not afraid to admit that life is still challenging and future is uncertain.
I am grateful for what we have shared and having been able to witness another life story that inspires mine.
