Buenos Aires was my last major destination in the Americas. By giving up on other smaller regions of interest, I could manage to spend a week in Buenos Aires.
Aside from the light sickness for the first couple days, there were logistical things to get done to migrate from South America to Europe for both my car and myself. At the same time, I wanted to take some time think about what all this means – why did I start this? What have I been doing? Why do I plan to continue this? These are not new questions but the answers seem to be evolving. So I ended up staying inside for quite a while, and didn’t get to visit too many attractions and meet many friends.
The last night, though, I caught up with Cesar and lots of his friends. And I’m grateful for having had friends to celebrate my birthday in Korean time 😁 I also realized that I had missed an attractive country in this trip – Venezuela. It’s another reason to come back to Americas in the future.
