Next to the Sebilj (water fountain) in the centre of Baščaršija square in Sarajevo, a local woman feeds an army of pigeons. The birds were constantly moving the air, which was felt on the faces of the onlookers.@ Sebilj, Sarajevo, Bosnia y Herzegovina, May 30, 2019
During the day, one of the most central squares in Sarajevo, Trg Oslobođenja, hosts casual Chess games among senior men. I don’t know the rules of Chess, nor do I understand the language here, but it was common that bystanders throw pieces of advice for next moves, or share laughs and sighs with others.

I usually try to spend all the cash at a gas station before leaving the country, in the last town I can find. In Bosnia, I saw a town called Visegrad, and I assumed it was a small town without much attractions. It might still be small but the tranquil vibe around the river was persuading me to stay. Had it not been for the Serbian car insurance, which is only sold while the office is open, I would’ve considered camping there. But then the guy from the gas station came to me and said that I cannot park there for long, because it’s there property 😄
